Grow WebLink Initiative

NASPA’s launching a Grow WebLink Initiative in order to add to the number of carriers offering WebLink, which gives real-time inquiry capabilities by connecting you directly to a carrier Web site by clicking on the carrier icon in Partner.

In January, NASPA will begin collecting the top three carriers you would like to see offer WebLink. NASPA will compile these results and present an overall priority list to SIS. Armed with this information, SIS will begin targeting your top five preferred companies for WebLink certification. The more carriers participating in WebLink, the more efficient and streamlined your agency will run. With the support of NASPA members and Partner agents like you, SIS looks forward to growing the number of insurance providers using WebLink.

AUGIE/ACORD Update

Craig Munson, Past-President of NASPA and owner of Munson Insurance Agency, Inc., in DeKalb, Illinois, attended the AUGIE Leaders Council on November 5-6 in Newark, New Jersey. During the meeting, an important new automation survey was announced.

AUGIE has updated their Agency Automation Survey and has requested that as many agency staff as possible participate. The survey is intended for all agency staff members so they can collect multiple perspectives. Survey results will be revealed in conjunction with the ACORD LOMA Conference in May 2006. This is your chance to have a voice and make a difference. Results from this survey are used by both carriers and vendors for future development to deliver you the automation tools you need to run your agency more efficiently. You should have already received an invitation to take the survey by now, but if you have not and are interested, please contact current NASPA President Ron Binning at ron@binningdickens.com .
