Champion Insurance Doesn’t Miss a Beat

Having heard from a peer that he should look into outsourcing, Jones contacted Julie Williams of SIS who suggested he consider Ajasent¹. Ajasent was recently certified by SIS for Partner 6.2. As an Application Service Provider (ASP), Ajasent has been offering hosting services to property and casualty insurance agents across the country for more than five years.

The first step in transferring Champion’s Partner data from the current hardware of his former business partner to the server at Ajasent was to separate the two agents’ client files. SIS stepped in at this point and provided this added service. Once the files were separated, SIS sent the data to Ajasent, which uploaded the information onto its server.

“The process was so easy,” Jones said. “I didn’t have to do a thing. In fact, anything we asked for, they’ve done.”

The complete process took several days, but typically, the transfer only takes anywhere from 2 to 24 hours, depending on the size of the data.

“It’s really a seamless process,” said Mark Parrish, President of Ajasent. “Very rarely will agencies experience any downtime in Partner. They leave at 5 p.m. and by the next morning, they are up and running on our system.”

Both Jones and Carol Fiest, Customer Service Representative for Champion Insurance, agree that having Ajasent host Partner has been a good decision.

“I can’t say for certain how much more cost efficient this is, but I do know that if I had my own hardware, I’d owe at least $95 per hour to a technician every time something goes wrong, which in my experience, can be a lot,” Jones explained.
