Adding Brokers

If your agency is using Partner Plus+, please follow Steps 1 and 2 listed below. If your agency is not using Partner Plus+, please follow Step 1 only.

1. If the agency is paying the Broker the premium:

a. The broker needs to be added by utilizing the Add Other button in Company Administrator

    • See previous instructions for Adding Other

b. All the writing companies for that broker should be added

    • See previous instructions for Adding NAIC Codes

You could have multiple companies as writing companies underneath the broker name. (Ex. Travelers, CNA, State Auto, etc.) You also could have more than one broker with the same writing companies. When you are in details of a policy, you would choose the broker as the company and the writing company would be the insurance company. The writing company name will print instead of the broker name.

2. If the agency is paying the Company the premium:

a. Add the broker as a producer in Administrator.

b. In the details portion of the policy, you will pick the company and then pick the broker under Producer.

Norton Internet Security 2006 & Windows 2000

We are aware of some possible issues with Norton Internet Security 2006 and Windows 2000. This can affect more applications than just Partner. However, we are currently working with Symantec to resolve this issue. For specific details about these possible issues, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-747-7005, Option 2.
