Question |
|
Dear SIS,
I read the
April newsletter about the hosted option of the Partner XE
system. It sounds really exciting! My question is: are you
looking into how to handle situations like ours where we have
two Partner systems (one in our prime office with Plus+
accounting, and the second in our branch office)? We currently
receive separate downloads from our insurance carriers. If there
was a possibility of consolidating the downloads into one
system, then both branches would have each other’s customer
information available. Thanks for any advance insight you have
on this.

Answer |

Dear
Roy,
For
your situation, it sounds like you would like one centralized agency
database that both locations can access (Clients, Download, Accounting,
etc.). This can be accomplished with our new Partner XE structure.
Because of Partner XE’s ability to communicate via the Internet protocol
(HTTP), remote users can directly connect to the server database via
their Internet connection.
In
addition, you will be able to decide whether you would like to host this
centralized database in one of your locations or if you would like us to
host it for you.
Thanks,
Nolan Davis
