Carrier Training Benefits All

On occasion, SIS’s insurance company partners request customized training for key staff, field personnel and/or hosting regional user group meetings. The purpose for these company initiatives can vary; however, the training benefits all parties, resulting in a better understanding and utilization of the current and new Partner XE agency management systems.

Recently held sessions include:

Aug 3, 2006 — Tools of the Trade, a general two-hour workshop, was presented by Anne for the State Auto Insurance Company’s Pacesetter Academy and its personal lines producer training class. Anne discussed the “automated” tools of a producer’s trade, (their agency management system), using Partner as an example showing the new producers how they can sell more by doing less, learning what and when to use the right automated tool for the right (sales) task.

July 24-25, 2006 — Agency Management Systems, a two-day workshop featuring SIS/Partner was held at State Auto Insurance Company’s corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, for their newly hired personal lines sales specialists. Anne focused on the marketing, customer retention, up-selling and cross-selling techniques, lead and prospect tracking, and reports and automated rollover features for most of the leading management systems, with particular emphasis on SIS/Partner.

SIS Partners with IVANS Transformation Station

SIS is proud to share the good news that we recently entered into an agreement to use IVANS Transformation Station, a managed data exchange that enables secure, reliable, real-time transactions to take place between agency and carrier systems by leveraging ACORD XML standards and the Internet.

By incorporating Transformation Station into a future version of Partner XE, SIS users will experience reduced processing time and expense for sales and service transactions.

Mark Miller, COO of SIS, said, “I am excited to offer this service to agents. This will further SIS’ commitment to providing multiple connectivity options for our customers to simplify their workflow between Partner XE and their insurance carriers.”

Integration with IVANS Transformation Station will allow agents to process policy transactions and retrieve account status information from a carrier directly from within Partner XE when they need it. Meanwhile, carriers can also provide the ability to quote and issue new business policies.

With Transformation Station, carriers can quickly provide real-time capabilities for customer service transactions including:

Billing Inquiry

Claims Inquiry

Policy Inquiry

Loss Run Request Inquiry

First Notice of Loss

Bridging Data to Web Sites

Make Payment Request

This new feature will allow your carriers to respond with a binding quote in real-time, bridge a transaction to their proprietary Web site, or return a real-time response as a text, PDF, or HTML file. Look for more information on the integration between Partner XE and IVANS Transformation Station, such as version availability and supported carriers, in future Partner Preview articles.
