Conference Corner Seeking Peak Performance at HIGH-TECC Hosted each year in the beautiful Colorado mountains, the annual HIGH-TECC Conference is known for being one-of-a-kind. Not just for technology workers as the name may indicate, HIGH-TECC is informative for anyone in the insurance industry. The goal is to help agents plan ahead and gain a better understanding of the technology available today. It brings together a variety of people including agents, company reps, vendors, technology specialists, industry consultants and user group and association leaders. The theme of this year’s event held July 16-19 was “Maximizing Success.” It focused on how effective strategic technology planning can make an agency more profitable and more efficient. Presenters explained how to maximize resources both inside and outside the agency through strategic planning. SIS COO Mark Miller attended HIGH-TECC and participated in the Agency Management Systems Vendor Panel along with several other vendor representatives where he shared with attendees the benefits of agency automation specifically using the Partner system. “HIGH-TECC is always an insightful conference,” Mark said. “Attendees get the opportunity to network and collaborate with each other, while keeping the ultimate goal in mind, which is improving agency workflow and operations through the use of technology.” Visiting Neighbors at PIA Ohio Anne Brooks and Jenny Beatty represented SIS at the PIA Ohio Agency Management and Profitability Conference on September 28-29 in Dublin, Ohio, near the SIS headquarters in Gahanna. Participants learned about cutting-edge tools that can be implemented to get the best from their sales teams and increase revenue for their agencies. “This was a great opportunity for SIS to share with agents how Partner and Partner XE can help improve the daily management and overall success of their agencies,” Jenny said. “The fact that it was held here near our ‘home turf’ made it all the more fun to visit with our current and potential Partner users!” Upcoming Conventions Ohio Big I Annual Convention Columbus, OH October 4-5 The Big Event, MAIA Annual Convention Boston, MA November 2-5 Great Lakes Automation Day (GLAD) East Lansing, MI November 8 Indiana Big I Annual Convention Indianapolis, IN November 11-13 |
