SIS ACORD XML Print Service Generates ACORD Forms over the Internet   

Gahanna, OH/Orlando, FL – May 19, 2003 – Strategic Insurance Software, Inc. (SIS) announced the availability of its newest product, the SIS XML Print Service.  Built using ACORD XML standards, the tool dynamically generates ACORD applications for all P&C lines of business.  The SIS XML Print Service consumes ACORD XML policy data from any carrier or third party vendor and renders ACORD applications and supplemental forms in standard PDF format thus enabling printing, e-filing, and more advanced agency-company interface options.

“The SIS XML Print Service was designed to allow other entities to concentrate on their core business logic and outsource the arduous details of printing and maintaining the standard ACORD application to SIS,” stated Doug Allen, Chief Operating Officer.  “The underlying architectures of this product allow us to keep current with all ACORD form editions as well as the emerging ACORD XML data standards.”

The XML Print Service currently supports all ACORD applications for P&C carriers and uses cutting edge technology including the Microsoft’s .NET platform.  It can be deployed as a Web service or as a COM based object.
