Celina Insurance Group Partners with SIS WebLink Gahanna, OH– July 22, 2003 Strategic Insurance Software, Inc. (SIS) www.sisware.com
recently announced a new partnership with Celina Insurance Group www.celinagroup.com
to provide direct access from SIS WebLink in the SEMCI PARTNER®
agency management system to Celina’s secured agency site, “RBI”,
or Resource Base of Information. WebLink provides Celina agencies one-click access to
individual policyholder files resulting in two important benefits –
saved time for the agency and increased effectiveness of the carrier
website. WebLink is a bridge from their SEMCI PARTNER® management
system into RBI to immediately reference customer policies. The
bridge uses encryption for security and can be used only by authorized
Celina agencies using SEMCI PARTNER® version 6.0. Agencies
on earlier versions can upgrade without any fees or costs. Certification of the new WebLink function is a leap forward
for agencies because it eliminates duplicate entry for log-in passwords,
client names and policy numbers for searching. “As a company that has invested a lot of time
and money to create a user friendly web site for our independent
agencies, we are excited to use the SIS WebLink product to allow our
agencies a simple route to information on our web site,” says Rob
Shoenfelt, Celina Insurance Group Chief Information Officer.
“This product makes both the management system and our web site
more valuable to our mutual customers.” Doug Allen, Chief Operating Officer of SIS added,
“Celina’s certification is a perfect example of how effectively
companies can deploy new technology.
They called us July 1st and by July 15th
WebLink to RBI was in production. My
hat goes off to the Celina team because they looked beyond the
completion of the website. They saw that if agencies could have
immediate access via WebLink, they would realize bigger returns on their
web development costs.” SIS trainers and Celina field representatives
will team-up in September to explore how agencies can start taking
advantage of WebLink and RBI. The
collaboration will begin with a training session in the Celina home
office and may include several marketing initiatives by SIS and Celina. “Working
with the staff at SIS was a refreshingly pleasant experience.
We were able to integrate our web site with their management
system very quickly and deliver functionality that our agencies wanted
and needed to streamline their workflow,” says Shoenfelt. Celina Insurance Group has been certified for download to SEMCI
PARTNER® since 1997. Celina is a provider of Farm insurance
as well as Auto, Home and Business. Traditionally, across the
country, Farm policies have not been downloaded, making that line more
difficult to service at the agency level. By providing WebLink to
the Celina Farm policies, these agencies now have a particular
