SIS receives high-five from ACORD Las Vegas– May 24, 2004 Strategic Insurance Software, Inc. (SIS www.sisware.com ) was honored at the ACORD 2004 Insurance Systems Forum with five awards of distinction, Early Forms Adopter, Increased Upload, Early XML Adopter, Outsourcer, and XML Certification. This is the inaugural year for the Early Forms Adoption Award. SIS attributes their success to recent enhancements to their delivery system for sending ACORD form updates and adding new Partner features which is appreciated for being non obtrusive and efficient. An example of a recent update is the SIS WebLink real-time inquiry and quote to issue. One carrier reported more than 11,000 hits to its site during April, were initiated by agents via SIS WebLink. The SIS WebLink certification for the most recent carrier was completed in a matter of days. Once certified, nearly 100% of their agents using Partner were enabled for SIS WebLink the very next day. The SIS Print Service takes what agents have entered on a carrier Web site and converts the AL3 and/or XML data to a completed ACORD form as a portable document file (PDF). This multiple ACORD award-winning product has been successfully used by carriers to provide more services from their agency portals.
