Miller tapped to lead SIS with emerging technologies Gahanna, Ohio– July 7, 2004 Mark Miller joins Strategic Insurance Software, Inc. (SIS) as senior vice president, chief operating officer. Miller brings to SIS proven experience in leading people and multi-disciplined project teams. His in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and commercial applications to address compliance, new business processes, and data management for top financial and insurance companies in the United States will serve SIS well. Miller was a founding member of Pivot, which became a subsidiary of Wachovia, where he held several positions including vice president of application development and was responsible for building the unit's technical infrastructure. Prior experience with Midland Life Insurance rounds out his more than 11 years of experience in the insurance information technology field. Miller will facilitate the release of the next generation of the Partner system. Miller is looking forward to making a smooth transition with the talented team at SIS and the valued partner agencies. In May 2004, SIS received the Upload Vendor of the year (percent growth) from the national industry standards associate ACORD as well as four additional awards; the XML Outsourcer, XML Certification, Early XML Adopter, and the Early Forms Adopter. SIS has nearly a decade of experience with implementing data and forms standards and has a long history of achieving excellence in the insurance technology field. |
