Greg Tillar, Chairman of the Board
Tillar, who also serves as CEO of NuGrowth Partners and NuGrowth Solutions, has over 25 years experience providing executive management and leadership to emerging domestic and international businesses. While his expertise lies in building and developing technology-based companies, he has also successfully led organizations in the advertising, non-profit, Internet, manufacturing and recreation sectors.
His extensive resume includes participating as an equity partner and management executive in the formation and launch of OneSource, a publishing and advertising company; nearly ten years as President and COO of Metatec Corporation, a publicly traded optical media manufacturer; and a position as Vice President of Sales for CompuServe, an international provider of business-to-business networking, where he provided strategic direction and leadership for the sales function of nearly 30 worldwide offices.
He is excited about what SIS has to offer and feels that as a team they are in a great position to help agencies increase efficiencies and profitability. “With our unique carrier side background,” he said, “we have the knowledge to continue to help the industry streamline information transfer and increase productivity.”
Alex Deak, President & CEO
Deak, who also serves on the board of Groundwork Group, providing information management and technology services to nonprofits, has held a variety of leadership roles in sales, large account management, business development, product management, ISO 9000 quality management, professional services, client services, and information technology.
Over the course of his extensive career, his leadership roles in technology-oriented software and services businesses have earned him recognition from a variety of sources, including a PCWeek cover article where he was recognized as one of the “New Breed” innovative, creative CIO’s, and a “Forty Under 40” award by Business First Magazine of Columbus, Ohio.
Deak said that he consistently receives feedback from customers who tell him that Partner XE is the best choice in agency management support; not only because of the system itself, but also because of the outstanding service they receive. “We know our customers and they know us. We have a close relationship with them and we appreciate what they mean to us,” he added.
Paul Fuller, EVP Product
Fuller, who in addition to his role at SIS is a founding member of NuGrowth Solutions, has successfully led sales and operations for multiple firms across multiple industries, leading to millions of dollars in pipeline growth and revenue. He earned his M.A. in Communication from the University of Arizona, where he was a Fellowship scholar and served as an instructor in business and political communication practice and theory.
Responsible for developing and running a world-class sales organization that serves SIS clients and ensures growth, Fuller says that it is his firm belief that sales is about principled service and leadership. With SIS, he says, “It is exciting to be working with people who embrace these values every day: independent insurance agents… understanding our clients’ needs and helping them choose a solution that will work to benefit their business is what the SIS Sales team is about.”
Michael Doran, EVP Marketing & Sales
Michael Doran provides sales and marketing leadership with a consistent record for both individual performance and building teams which deliver outstanding results. His expertise includes team development, training, large account development, execution of proven sales methodologies and innovative lead generation marketing.
In addition to his role at SIS, Michael helps companies by provides marketing strategy and leadership as EVP Marketing for NuGrowth Solutions. Prior, Michael held multiple senior sales positions including leading the East and West Coast sales efforts for an international information distribution company. During that time revenue increased from $18 million to $120 million. His industry experience includes software service, design and manufacturing, supply chain management, consulting, and professional services.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree from The Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. During his time at Richmond, Michael was a 4 year starter for the Men’s Division 1 Varsity soccer team and captained the team in his senior year. In addition to Richmond, Michael has participated in various Executive Education Programs.
Beth Wenning, Director of Organizational Development
Wenning, who possesses innate relational and personnel development strengths, has broad expertise in account management, new business sales, operations, customer service, recruiting, training, event planning and promotion.
Prior to joining SIS, she performed as a top business development executive for NuGrowth Solutions. She has also served as a marketing manager and training consultant with Dale Carnegie Training of Ohio & Indiana.
