Orlando, FL (June 3, 2009) Strategic Insurance Software, Inc. (SIS), of Gahanna, Ohio, was honored with three more awards by ACORD during the 2009 ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum, held May 17-19 in Orlando. This brings the total number of awards SIS has received from ACORD to 27.
SIS was honored again this year with the Early Forms Adopter Award for the continued early adoption of ACORD Forms standards for Partner XE. SIS also received the ACORD Innovative Implementation Award and a new award this year – the Real Time Implementation & Download Implementations, Multiple Trading Partners. “On behalf of ACORD, I want to congratulate SIS on receiving three 2009 ACORD Awards. I also want to commend them for their ongoing commitment to the implementation of ACORD standards,” said John Kellington, senior vice president, ACORD.
The Real Time Implementation & Download Implementations, Multiple Trading Partners Award is a new award which is presented to vendors based on the number of active agencies utilizing real time implementations and/or download for multiple personal or commercial lines of business with 50 or more carriers. “The implementation of IVANS Transformation StationTM to supplement our SIS WebLink solution has succeeded in furthering our Real Time carrier outreach and increasing our agency usage numbers,” says Nolan Davis, systems supervisor, SIS.
The ACORD Innovative Implementation Award was a new award last year. SIS won this award last year and was again honored with the award this year. It was presented to SIS for implementing XML standards in unique, exceptional and an innovative way to the SIS Print Service. The SIS Print Service product floods ACORD XML Version 1.x data to ACORD forms as PDF streams/documents. Company Unique XML data and forms are also supported by the Print Service. This product may be installed as a COM Object or Web Service, which can be hosted by SIS or the carrier.
SIS continues to work diligently to adopt ACORD standards and stay in the forefront of technology, and was duly honored for the sixth consecutive year with the ACORD Early Forms Adopter Award. This was awarded to SIS for the continued early adoption of ACORD form revisions to the current version of the Partner XE agency management system. The timely implementation of form revisions is critical to insurance agents so they can meet current state regulatory demands.

This was SIS’ first Web Services Award, in recognition of the WebLink implementation with Frankenmuth Financial Group. “Our real time interface goal at Frankenmuth Financial Group is to provide our agency partners with fast and efficient access to data which assists in supporting our customers.
