The
driving force behind the Print
Service is the ability to
produce any P&C ACORD form
from an XML data stream.
This includes applications and
supplemental forms from all
states with configuration for
company unique data. SIS
received the 2003 achievement
award from ACORD for this
Outsourcer service using ACORD
certified 1.3 XML. In 2004
SIS was awarded the Outsourcer and
the XML Early Adopter for the
Print Service.
However,
the Print Service is not limited
to ACORD XML.
Other
data sources can be consumed by
the Print Service. The service
can take various data sources
and combine them to render on
single PDF stream. This is
important for companies who use
the ACORD standardized forms,
yet also want to include company
customized pages and or
proposals.
For
carriers with AL3 or Legacy policy data,
the Print Service can be called for straight
through printing. Since 1995,
SIS has a history of excellence
with ACORD forms and various
policy data structures.
The
Print Service can be delivered
as a COM object or a Web service
that can be hosted by SIS or the
carrier.
