SIS is seeking an Intern interested is gaining experience in a variety of areas of software development and network administration.  The intern will have the opportunity to assist in the following areas of the organization:  customer on-boarding, application development, and day to day IT needs.  Details and qualifications are listed below.

Customer Support Analyst

SIS is seeking a Customer Support Analyst to provide customer service and technical support for agency management software (Partner XE) users and clients. Details and qualifications are listed below. This is a great opportunity for former insurance CSRs.


  • Provide customer service and technical support to facilitate installation, implementation, maintenance, education and documentation of a variety of computer and software technologies utilizing the telephone and remote communication technologies.
  • Document detailed information about every call incident with prompt analysis of probable cause and assessment of severity and priority, while remotely diagnosing underlying causes to customer problems to resolutions.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot new software, updates, and patches.
  • Provide support to troubleshoot hardware and network conflicts to resolutions (includes, but is not limited to Desktops, Laptops, Printers).


  • Ability to communicate/document detailed technical information, as well as demonstrate effective verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate effective analytical and problem solving skills, as well as time management.
  • Insurance industry and/or agency management system experience is preferred.
  • Accounting and training experience is also a plus.
  • One to three years of previous service support experience that required extensive telephone contact.
  • Experience with Windows Operating System. (Windows XP and higher)
  • Solid understanding of the internet and remote access tools.

Implementation Analyst

SIS ( is seeking an entry level Implementation Analyst to assist with processing data conversions and manage the client implementation following SIS’s methodology. Details and qualifications are listed below.


  • Coordinate and execute implementation activities for on-boarding new clients to Partner XE.
  • Ability to plan daily activities based upon priorities provided by management.
  • Gather client requirements for implementation and configuration based upon what module and services have been purchased.
  • Execute according to pre-determined implementation timeline.
  • Follow a documented implementation process per standard SIS methodology.
  • Maintain documentation for the existing process and create new documentation when required.
  • Monitor all implementations in progress.
  • Manage the lines of communication among the client and members of the implementation team. Provide status updates via schedules, meetings and emails. Ensure that expectations are aligned with the pre-determined schedule.
  • Manage implementation to successful completion before turnover for testing and installation.


  • Good working knowledge of server hardware, operating systems and operations.
  • Good working knowledge and experience with SQL Server, Visual Basic.NET, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Basic 6.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
